What are we up to?

This month, we are officially launching our Shark Eye Designs workshops and could not be more excited to welcome you into the creative process. After weeks of testing ideas, organizing materials, and refining our coastal-inspired projects, our first workshops are ready to go.

We will be hosting hands-on workshops on January 7, January 14, and January 25, offering thoughtfully curated sessions designed to be relaxed, creative, and accessible—perfect for a night out with friends or a chance to try something new.

In addition to our workshops, Shark Eye Designs will be participating in a vendor pop-up (open to the public) at the Wanderers Club this month. This pop-up is a great opportunity to see our work in person, explore our coastal aesthetic, and connect with us outside of a workshop setting. Event date is January 18th from 11am-3pm.

More details for each workshop will be announced shortly. We look forward to creating with you and are grateful to have you as part of our growing coastal community.

About us

Hi, we’re Kaleigh and Kendra, the sisters behind Shark Eye Designs.

What started as a shared love for collecting shells and creating coastal art slowly grew into something bigger, a way to connect with others through creativity, community, and the beauty of the coast.

The name Shark Eye Designs comes from Kaleigh’s favorite shell — the Shark Eye, also known as a moon snail. She’s always loved how unique it looks and how easy it is to spot on the beach once you know what you’re looking for. It’s become a little symbol for us. A reminder of where our inspiration comes from and how something simple, like a shell, can spark a whole creative idea

Every piece we make and every workshop we host comes from that same place of inspiration. We love transforming shells, driftwood, and seaside textures into something that tells a story — your story. Whether it’s a hand-painted shadow box, a personalized rain barrel, or a night spent crafting by the coast, our goal is to help you craft your own coast story.

This little business is our way of celebrating creativity, family, and the magic of the ocean — one shell at a time.
